  • Drinking enough water is one of the most important things you can do and especially amid current times. Whilst it may be inconvenient and quite easy to forget, it’s crucial to drink the recommended amount of water daily, which whilst it’s commonly known to be 2 litres a day, it is actually recommended to drink about 15.5 cups (3.7 litres) of fluids for men and about 11.5 cups (2.7 litres) of fluids a day for women (The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine).


  • The importance of water is for a number of reasons that allow our body to function, with some of the most important ones being digestion, blood circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature. With isolation affecting us all, exercise may become harder which makes a healthy diet crucial and water is just one part of that, drinking enough water helps majorly with weight loss and as well as decreasing wrinkling and dry skin.


  • 2.7-3.7 litres of water may seem like a lot, and it is, but in truth, just through the food we eat we can attain nearly a litre of water into our body, making a healthy diet even more important, additionally along the lines of drinking a lot of water, make sure to balance it out with just a little bit of salt intake or salty food as to prevent loss of electrolytes or body sodium levels.
